Cordius is working with a renowned company in the UK's restaurant design and fit-out sector, joining forces with top restaurant designers and operators nationwide. Together, they are creating award-winning bars and restaurants for the hotel and leisure industry. They are looking for a fully experienced Commercial catering engineer with a positive, reliable, and responsible attitude, to join the company’s service team.
 
Monday to Friday 8.00 am – 4.30 pm, with weekend and bank holiday callouts on a rota basis

Job Scope
As a Commercial Catering Engineer, you will be carrying out maintenance, repair, and occasional installation of catering equipment e.g., restaurant and bar appliances including cookline equipment and warewashing. Experience is an advantage with prime cooking equipment, dishwashers, etc. Repair and maintenance, installation, troubleshooting, servicing, gas, and electrical appliances.

Competent skill sets and good communication skills are essential along with fault-finding and diagnostic skills on all types of catering equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Carrying out PPM and reactive works on various cookline appliances across various small, medium, and large private and public sector establishments.
  • Carry out fault finding and repair of customer’s equipment on-site
  • Ensuring that all technical and compliance paperwork is completed and up to date
  • Completing all works to the highest standards in an efficient manner, while complying with the company’s health and safety policy

Requirements
  • Must hold Comcat 1,3 and 5 qualifications
  • Experience in electrical and gas catering equipment repair & maintenance is essential
  • Must hold a valid driving licence
  • Must hold a valid right to work in the UK
  • Must be confident and have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Based in the Northwest
