Winning Software House who develop in C#, .NET and SQL server for a wide range of clients.
You will ideally have at least 12 months testing experience including the writing and executing of test plans and scripts (this can include a University work placement). Initially a manual testing role, we ideally require candidates who have worked primarily in a testing role and not those who have conducted some testing as part of a wider role.
The Junior QA role will involve working closely with the Development Team to test software prior to hotfix packages being passed through our full test cycle. The individual will be responsible for unit tests of particular functionality as developers prepare for a formal release into QA. One of the main aims of this role is to discover issues prior to software being released into our current QA function.
- Maintaining and developing testing plans
- Testing all software committed to a test environment prior to official release
- Liaising with development team to fix issues from testing
- Liaising with Product Sponsors on results from testing
- Working with QA manager on full regression tests
You will be a logical thinker and good at problem solving and investigating issues. ISEB certification in testing would be highly beneficial!
