Job description
One of our clients is currently looking for a Full Stack PHP Developer to join their team. Our client based in Newcastle-under-Lyme is a digital marketing agency specialising in bespoke ecommerce and CMS.
We’ll need you to:
• Have a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL
• Have implemented WordPress or Opencart sites, including developing custom plugins for the platforms
• Have a good understanding of securely integrating databases into a back-end
• Have a willingness to dive into platforms and code-bases you might not be used to
• Have an understanding of technical SEO and site optimization, and the techniques that can be used to make our client’s websites perform better on search engines
• Develop with accessibility in mind
• Develop modular code and components that can be easily reused

Bonus points if you:
• Have worked with a modern PHP framework, like Laravel, Codeigniter 4 or Symfony
• Have a good understanding of programming design patterns and SOLID principles
• Have an understanding of front-end frameworks
