We are looking for a Senior Marketing Executive to join our client, a growing MSP/IT Services company.
 

The position can offer fully remote, working at their Birmingham office, or Hybrid.

Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will support aggressive growth via lead generation activities across events and campaigns, which you will research, manage, deliver and report on.

The impact of your work will be traceable revenue and profit, with demonstrable financial ROI. You will work within and co-ordinate a team social/email/content plus outsourced resources to deliver on objectives.

Main duties include:
  • Researching, planning and organising a calendar of external and internal events and the pre/post programme for lead generation purposes (including physical events, webinars, virtual exhibitions etc), together with managing the events budget and engaging with 3rd party suppliers
  • Managing all aspects of event attendance, ensuring we present a professional and good quality exhibition presence by attending on the day/s, as well as briefing the sales attendees, stand setup, managing collateral, call to action, briefing/debriefing sales and lead follow-up
  • Managing the production of internal events (mainly virtual) from planning, to briefing and coordinating internal and external presenters, logistics, creating a comms plan for delegate recruitment, and the usual briefing to internal teams and lead follow-up
  • Working with the Marketing Manager to create, manage and implement campaigns across on and offline channels, including vendor partner campaigns
  • Working with the Digital Marketing Executive, and the (Digital Marketing Manager) to plan and co-ordinate delivery of events and campaign digital activities
  • Build relationships with internal employees, with suppliers and other third parties
  • Supply data and brief the Business Development team in line with the campaign and event calendar, ensuring that lead follow-up is maintained
  • Manage the creation of marketing materials including copywriting as required (emails/ social/brochures) and co-ordinating design and production (print or digital)
  • Responsible for accurately and regularly recording lead information from all campaigns and events, web forms etc. from initial lead generation, to qualification, then close, to support reporting for ROI purposes. This includes cross-referencing information from multiple sources and persistently following up with sales for updates. 
Experience and Skills required:
  • We are looking for a self-motivated, well organised operator with creative flair who relishes the chance to ‘own’ a role, and be a positive and proactive force in driving the business forward
  • Demonstrable experience of working in-house, or within an agency environment as an account manager or similar, managing multiple stakeholders as well as internal and external resources
  • Able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks through from start to finish
  • Experience co-ordinating and producing event plans desirable
  • Exceptional written communications skills, with ability to adapt style to suit different audiences, and understanding of basic SEO requirements when writing for web
  • Experience using a CMS to update websites, excellent communication, persuasion and engagement skills
  • Highly experienced using Excel to at least an intermediate level, and confidence managing data (inside or out of a CRM systems), with high levels of attention-to-detail
  • Marketing/creative graduate or studying CIM or other marketing related qualification
  • Demonstrable understanding of the full on and offline marketing mix.
  • Capability and enthusiasm to deal with communicating sometimes complex technology/ subject matter
  • B2B marketing experience, ideally within technology market
  • Car driver not necessary but travel to events and occasional visits to the Birmingham office will be required.
