Senior Insolvency Case Administrator

Job description

Main duties will include:
• Setting up new cases and closure of cases using IPS software
• Completion of ethical checklists, money laundering documents and other checklists
• Liaising with stakeholders on a regular basis, including agents, directors and creditors
• General day to day administration of cases
• Drafting annual and final reports, statement of affairs, declaration of solvency forms
and other statutory documents
• Ensuring statutory deadlines are met and liaising with the insolvency practitioner to
progress cases
• Agreeing creditor claims and preparation of dividends
• Assisting with statutory investigations, including reviewing accounts, bank statements
and other documents
• Assisting with realisation of various classes of assets
• Attend client premises for meetings where required. From time to time this may
include working outside of normal office hours and some travel

• Working knowledge of corporate insolvency processes
• Good organisational and numeracy skills
• Ability to attend occasional meetings outside normal hours
• Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven accuracy and an eye for
detail
• Ability to learn new IT skills quickly
• Knowledge of basic accounting and IPS software is desirable, but not essential
• CPI qualification, or equivalent, is desirable but not essential
