Cordius is working with an innovative, fast-growing UK company that develops, sources and supplies instructive equipment and toys to schools and nurseries across the UK.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for all social media and digital marketing activities relating to the company. This is the ideal opportunity for a Social Media Marketeer looking to utilise their skills in a fast-paced and exciting environment. 

Our digital marketing department is key to the success of our business and we are looking for the ultimate brand upholder; someone who can implement and manage a successful digital marketing strategy whilst enabling us to reach new heights in terms of our reach, brand perception, engagement and revenue generation. 

To be considered for this role, you will have experience in running multiple social media channels and E-Commerce experience, with proven results. We are looking for a strong organised person with the ability to lead not only their team but develop new business opportunities using digital and social media. Developing and executing digital marketing plans and possess the ability to generate excitement about marketing activity.

Main Role:

  • Develop social media plan and reports, techniques and execution to be used on all 5 social channels multi country multimarket social media accounts
  • Creation of innovative, shareable content that educates and entertains
  • Ability to work quickly and to deadline, taking ownership and accountability of social media projects
  • Leverage online tools to expand audiences across all platforms
  • Develop and manage paid promotion campaigns across platforms
  • Manage team of social content creators to deliver a consistent content plan
  • Develop new teams of creators and brand ambassadors specialising in specific areas
  • Manage influencer programs
  • Source affiliate programmes
  • Create web reports with Google Analytics and zoho
  • Work with customer services to ensure smooth filtering of comments and feedback
  • Analyse various sets of data to establish growth opportunities
  • Contributing to the creation of internal communications socially.
  • Create content for use on website and social media using various design tools
  • Report social KPIs weekly – posts / engagement etc
  • Source / Write optimised web copy and content – including product descriptions and Blogs.
  • Source and develop SEO, PPC and link building
  • Developing PR and media partnerships with sector and media brands
  • Managing the media card

Person Specification:

  • Good project management skills
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Strong graduate experience (internship) or 2-3 years’ experience in growing social media channels (we would want to see portfolio of work)
  • Experience in the creation of content
  • Experience using e commerce shopping cart software (Magento or similar)
  • Good interpersonal skills – enjoy being part of a team.
  • Strong interest in social media and new technology- reports, personal development etc
