Cordius is working with an innovative, fast-growing UK company that develops, sources and supplies instructive equipment and toys to schools and nurseries across the UK.

Location: Fauld, Burton-on-Trent (DE13 9HS)

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

The successful candidate will take responsibility for all analogue, direct and digital marketing activities relating to the company brand. This is the ideal opportunity for a Marketing Manager looking to utilise their skills in a fast-paced and exciting environment.  We are looking for a strong Manager with the ability to lead not only their team to success through coaching, training, and mentoring, but also other key internal stakeholders. 


  • Set out the marketing strategy, alongside the Board of Directors and marketing director
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively ensuring that it is used wisely and innovatively
  • Lead the businesses (either directly or through the marketing team) to respect, manage, and nurture the data it creates so marketing can assist in monetising the data held
  • Understand in detail how marketing can generate revenue and add value to the business, ensuring there is visibility of ROI for each campaign, and each business areas growth targets are supported
  • Be the ultimate brand custodian across all internal and external interactions
  • Create and manage organised systems of marketing collateral that remain relevant and fit for purpose for the businesses brand
  • Ensure that e-mail marketing campaigns are carried out in a responsible and compliant way
  • Keep up to date with changes in digital marketing to ensure we have best-in-class tools at our disposal
  • Supporting trade partnerships with marcomms and team input
  • Support and promote the creative development of promotional materials, catalogues, website content, advertisements, and other marketing-related projects 
  • Create and manage annual creative content calendars
  • Working with the team to execute multiple projects on multichannel platforms at the same time
  • Deliver a large number of Direct Marketing and Catalogue Projects each year
  • Manage and Develop the databases across all of our marketing sectors
  • Managing social media team, campaigns and posts
  • Support bid and sales activities where required 


  • Strongly organised, project management
  • 5 years’ experience in marketing management and team management
  • Show evidence of pursuing tech and data development
  • Ideally you will have specific education Industry experience and have product knowledge with a good understanding of your target audience
  • Experience or qualifications in creative and writing skills including but not exclusive to press releases
  • Good organisation and planning skills
  • Managing £600k + budgets
  • Extensive experience in interpreting and presenting marketing data analysis Good people management and communication skills
  • Proficient in CRM capabilities and data utilisation
