C# .NET Software Developer

Job description

We are hiring a .NET Developer for the ongoing development and support of existing market leading products, and to help shape and develop new Greenfield products and solutions used by some of the world’s biggest pharmaceutical and healthcare companies.

You’ll love to program and create innovative solutions to problems in the software you create. You must be highly motivated, analytical and willing to work closely with clients and internal stakeholders.

Working in a range of languages including JavaScript, Vue.js, CSS, SASS, C# .NET, .NET Core, and MS SQL to name a few, responsibilities will include further enhancements to the product’s .NET back-end, support/diagnosis of issues within all parts of the application, and translation of UI/UX designs to responsive HTML/CSS applications.

Key Skills:

• At least 1 years’ experience of .NET development in web applications using C#
• A good understanding of T-SQL, MS SQL
• Front-end skills using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Strong analytical skills & attention to detail
• A love of solving complex problems creatively
• Experience of working effectively as part of a team
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Inter-personal skills with a flexible approach and an ability to adapt to circumstances
• Ability to work under own initiative
• Ability to work to tight timelines
• Willingness to learn and develop

Desired Skills:

• A solid understanding of OOP principles and SOLID
• Familiarity in DDD, CQRS and Event Sourcing desirable
• Experience of LESS / SASS
• Knowledge in the use of ORMs
• Experience of Distributed Source Control systems (Mercurial, GIT, etc)
