Sales Development Representative (SDR) - SaaS
A great opportunity for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join an exciting SaaS software company headquartered in Nottingham. A high growth company, they’ve grown a self-sustaining, profitable business serving businesses around the world, from market leaders through to the smallest tech start-ups. They're truly international, with over half of their customers in the US with the remainder across EMEA and APAC.
As a Sales Development Representative you will be responsible for qualifying inbound leads and generating leads through outbound activity. Success in this role will be driven by your ability to engage with prospective customers, understand their requirements and provide them the appropriate guidance.
Your inbound and outbound activity will need to be organised around US and European time zones and you will have the opportunity to contribute your experience and ideas to team projects to develop and refine the sales process, sales and account plans, and work together with marketing to build and deliver communications and lead generation campaigns.
You will be confident, personally and professionally competitive, and motivated. You will be able to demonstrate success in a similar role in a target driven SaaS technology business and have at least a year of successful opportunity generation with a technical SaaS product. Over that time, you will have developed…
- An understanding of Internet API technologies and how SaaS applications are built
- A professional approach to selling ideally based on a recognised sales methodology
- An interest and domain knowledge of one or more SaaS sectors
Clear and focused written and verbal communication is crucial to being successful – you’ll deal with customers around the world through email, calls and video conferencing.
We are also looking for…
- Strong listening skills
- Persistence and a drive for simplicity
- An ability to maintain focus and work independently
- A collaborative ethic, success is a whole company effort
- Honesty and candour in your interactions with colleagues, clients and prospects
The role can support a predominantly remote, office based or a hybrid working model. Face-to-face time is valuable and under normal circumstances, the teams spend regular time together, either at the Nottingham office or other suitable locations.
- £25k-£35k + uncapped commission scheme
- Pension scheme
- Training and personal development days
- Supportive colleagues who enjoy spending time together
