Web Developer
Job description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mid-weight Web Developer to join an award-winning team. Working with several large and high-profile clients, this busy hands on role will be ideally suited to a developer with agency/in house experience and a proven track record of success.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Fulfilling internal marketing development requirements, ad hoc work and bug fixes
- Assisting project developers on development work
- Bespoke development of back end systems/modules
- General system maintenance/security updates
Technical skills:
- Should be a wizard with HTML5, CSS3 (SASS), JavaScript, jQuery
- Responsive builds
- PHP skills with a working knowledge of Object Orientated PHP7
- Be able to display an understanding of SQL and optimisation
- Be able to understand the fundamentals of an automated deployment process
Experience with at least some of the following technologies:
- Dependency management (Composer, NPM)
- WordPress
- Version Controlling (Git)
- Node Build Tools (Gulp, compass)
- SSH/FTP/S3/HTTP(S)
- Nginx/Apache
- Cloud computing
- Photoshop / Illustrator / InDesign
Location: Nottinghamshire
Salary: circa £26,000 + Benefits
