| We are supporting a global manufacturer during their expansion programme. As a dynamic and progressive manufacturer with a clear strategy for future growth, they now need to recruit an ambitious individual into this important engineering role of shift engineering manager. Location: Leicester Salary: £40,000 + Package + Bonus Hours / Shifts: Days Skills: Chilled food experience is a must, PPM, Lean, Continous Improvements, Change agent, Can do attitude and Enthusiastic In this demanding role, you will lead and develop a team of 6 engineers on shift and ensure that a proactive maintenance culture is achieved and sustained. You will provide specialist engineering support to your area as well as being responsible for the day-to-day performance. This is a varied role where the pace of the operation is demanding and your ability to prioritise will be essential. In order to succeed in this challenging role, you must be an experienced engineer; you will be an inspirational leader and motivator of people. With a focus on driving change and developing modern maintenance techniques including lean incentives and continous improvements ideally you will be committed to improvements and an ambassador of change.
