This is a superb opportunity to join a market leading software house who supply IT Services and Solutions, including Supply Chain and Merchandising Software, primarily into the Retail and Distribution sectors. You will based on one of their flagship customer sites in central London and will have to travel to other locations from time to time. The primary function of this role is to provide 2nd line support of their Supply Chain and Merchandising system .

Main Duties:

•	Provide 2nd line support of Application Software

•	Log issue raised by Users 
-	Initial analysis to investigate Issues raised by users/identify bugs and pass to 3rd line for resolution.
-	Use of Query tools to analyse database to verify/clarify issues before  escalating to third line for resolution.
-	Respond to ad-hoc queries/questions raised by users re Application functionality.
-	Initial Analysis of Interface Issues &amp; escalation to 3rd Line Support/3rd Parties.

•	3rd Line Support (Coding, Testing and Implementation).


•	Liaising with Client/users on progress of issues and re-prioritisation of Outstanding Calls.


•	User Acceptance Testing of Bug fixes before release to Users.


•	Updating User Documentation

In order to be considered you will have to have the following experience: 

•	Minimum of 5 years working in IT
•	Minimum of 3 years supporting applications developed in RPG/ILE 
•	Experience of providing support for ERP Package (ideally Merchandising)  

Any knowledge of Retail and Supply Chain or Merchandising Systems will be a distinct advantage.</description>

For this role our client is looking to recruit someone with previous experience maintaining and maximising general plant and equipment in a food / beverage environment. Ideally you will have experience maintaining equipment such as conveyors, labellers, trolley loaders. Experience of software enhancement to Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi PLC Systems and HMI modifications will be beneficial as will a mechanical appreciation to complement your electrical qualification to work in a multi-skilled capacity. 

You will be responsible for ensuring the plant and its machinery and equipment are working in an efficient and correct manner. This role follows a continental shift pattern.

Salary £36,000 + Overtime 

Your key duties will include:

Development, production and supply of integrated processing systems 
Experience manipulating HMI 
Root Cause Analysis
Continous Improvements 
Conveyors / materials handling equipment 
Packaging equipment 
Mechanical experience 
Proactive, avoiding downtime by carrying out modifications
Carrying out routine maintenance

To be considered for this position you must have previous relevant experience in a maintenance engineering position, and sound electrical knowledge with good PLC capabilities,
