Engineering & Facilities Manager
As the Engineering and Facilities Manager for the site, you will define and lead the engineering agenda which is aligned to the site strategy (X matrix); and lead, coach and engage the large engineering, facilities and third party contractor teams to deliver the agenda.

Key accountabilities and measures include:
Create a rolling 3 year plan and a clear Engineering & Facilities road map to achieve this Own and deliver our annual Operating Plan with a budget of around £12million Ensure legal compliance across our site and that H &S is fundamental in all we do Lead a multi-functional team of engineers and third Party colleagues to deliver outstanding results Utilise best practice methodology to drive the Engineering agenda (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma) Utilise a suite of metrics to drive performance including OEE, MTTR, MTBF Develop training and development to ensure a stable and capable team Align with the central engineering function to share good & best practice and deliver projects Build the sites resilience, deliver our facilities requirements and manage contractors effectively Drive the site engineering & facilities agenda to a “Zero Loss” mind-set through a continuous improvement approach
Technical skills/business skills required
A strong Engineering pedigree, including proven experience within automation, mechanical, electrical and TPM Practical Promoter who knows what good looks like and how to deliver it Coaching and mentoring of a large team Tenacious and adaptable leader who can deliver at pace Strong influencing skills Project management from scoping to delivery Strong stakeholder manager with the ability to work in a matrix structure Outstanding problem solver who drives for the root cause & permanent corrective action
