| Agile Test Analyst, Agile Test Engineer, Lead Software Tester, Test Analyst, C# Tester, Agile, C#, ISEB, Functional Testing, Performance Testing, Load Testing, East Midlands, Nottingham, As a tester you’ll be working on flagship products and services, with the opportunity to get involved in testing all aspects of the products; from low level infrastructure components communicating with network operators around the world, to web applications used internationally by tens of thousands of users. Within a highly collaborative and continuously improving team you’ll be delivering fabulous software, embracing practices such as Test Driven Development and Automated Acceptance Testing and Pair Programming; and with a mandate of continuous improvement typically: • Attend at least one conference a year. • Run regular dojos, technical presentations and guided learning sessions. • Dedicate time for research, innovation and learning. • Regularly focus on improvement in team retrospectives. Experience: Systems are primarily C#/.Net but using and evaluating numerous other technologies too. We are interested in candidates who can demonstrate the following: • Experience writing simple SQL queries and insert/update statements and a basic grasp of SQL Server or another relational database. • At least one year’s experience with some scripting or programming language, preferably C#. • Experience collaborating with programmers and business experts. • Ability to work as part of a self-organising team in which you determine your tasks on a daily basis in coordination with co-workers rather than waiting for work to be assigned to you. Experience in at least three of the following: • Testing web applications including cross browser testing. • Testing APIs. • Testing low-level components. • Exploratory testing, scenarios. • Usability testing. • User acceptance testing. • Functional testing. • Performance, Load, Stress & Scalability Testing. • Any experience in telecommunications will be looked on favourably.
