Due to expansion a System Test Analyst is required to join the System Test team (currently 7 Testers) at this Leading Software/Solutions House. The purpose of the role is to ascertain and report on the quality of software products through testing and report through to the System Test Manager. You will be required to review the test basis, create test design and hold test design review meetings without supervision. Then document test cases, design and create test data, execute test cases, logging incidents and results and create test summary reports to communicate progress. They need to maintain configuration management documentation for their own test environment, hold incident review meetings and manage incidents to closure. Plus support and mentor less experienced staff. To be successful in the above role you will have a high demonstrable level of written / verbal communication skills, be able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines, have the ability to prioritise your own work load, be an effective team player and be highly self-motivated. The System Test Analyst will also need to be able to work with minimum supervision. Querying experience using SQL, ISEB Foundation Qualification and a minimum 2 years system test experience in a fast moving environment is essential, plus a basic level of understanding of XML and XSD is preferred.
