Working as part of a small team you will be tasked with the customer support and training (helpdesk & email & very occasional visits to customer premises) of bespoke software solutions which run on Microsoft Windows platform written in VC++, C#, .NET, SQL and Crystal Reports. You will have previous experience of providing customer technical support on bespoke software with some software training, be a logical thinker, good at problem solving & investigating issues, be very customer focused, have excellent face-to-face skills and professional telephone manner; ideally with experience of working in a support environment supporting & solving databases issues (SQL/Crystal Reports). Key requirements: Previous experience of providing end user support and training on bespoke software (onsite and off-site). Technically, you will have some experience and understanding of SQL databases. Previous exposure to a Service Desk environment and Call Logging Systems. Basic understanding of VC++ and/or C# would be beneficial. Be of smart appearance, confident and have a customer focused approach. Be locally based, flexible and ideally hold a full UK driving license. Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 + Benefits! Location: Ashby-de-la-Zouch / Leicestershire / East Midlands.
