| Leading global packaging manufacturer which supplies into industries such as food, drink, toiletries and cosmetics is seeking to appoint an electrical maintenance engineer. Location Chesterfield Shifts 12 hour days (Good shift pattern for work/life balance) Salary £25,000 Benefits Pension, 33 Days Holiday, Child care vouchers, Life cover The role is responsible for the Electrical installation, preventative maintenance and remedial maintenance of production, equipment, ancillary equipment and services. This position will suit an Electrical engineer with experience of maintaining & fault finding on PLC controlled equipment in a fast paced environment. You will have experience of implementing lean and continuous Improvement techniques. You will be a time served engineer with a City & Guilds, BTEC, ONC or Higher electrical qualification, accompanied by either 16th or 17th Edition qualification. Additional requirements are: A minimum of 3 to 5 years post training engineering experience in a similar role Demonstrated technical competence and success in problem solving and continuous improvement Computer Skills (Excel, Word, Email) Operation and programming Siemens and Allen Bradley PLCs Electrical/ Pneumatic process controls Experience in the paper/ packaging industry. FMCG/ Automotive/Pharmaceutical /ISO Compliance experience Knowledge and experience of implementing lean tools Knowledge of guarding and electrical safety circuits to Cat 3/4 | ||||
