Main Responsibilities

To plan and progress assigned projects from appointment (Capacity Filter 0) through to the formal Team Release in conjunction with the project team, in order that the project objectives are met according to the required OTD, FPY and Pz targets.

To co-ordinate with project team members to identify issues and problems, troubleshoot and resolve them accordingly.

To communicate and update, internally and externally, on the progress of projects

To ensure that the working sessions of project teams are in line with TTM / BIC-Q processes, maintain project documentation and files.

To organise project reviews with the Management Team and highlight any issues which warrants their assistance or decision.

Any other tasks deemed appropriate by the PT-LG/PMO Department Head and within the capabilities of the post holder.

•	Design, develop &amp; maintain common components for our product portfolio.
•	Conduct design verification test cycles, including data analysis.
•	Evaluate &amp; test new platforms &amp; tools.
•	As the role is focused on vehicle based systems, it may be occasionally necessary to conduct 'in situ' vehicle testing at a customer’s site.
•	Primarily based around developing deeply embedded solutions, previous hardware design experience would be a particular advantage.

Experience in the following would be desirable, but not essential:

•	Experience with Eclipse IDE.
•	Experience of GSM modules.
•	Experience of GPS/NMEA data processing.
•	Hardware design and/or fault finding.
•	Previous circuit design experience (schematic capture and PCB layout).
•	Type approval experience, such as EMC and R&amp;TTE.
•	Experience of working in an ISO9001 and TickIT software configuration management environment.
